A new tick for the garden pond

The pond in our garden has been in for a year now and is getting bedded in well.

We've had common blue damselfly but yesteday we had Blue-tailed Damselfly for the first time. Wonderful 😊

Sedge Warbler

This morning was dry, although it was still very wet underfoot, and sunny so I wasn't surprised to hear all the common warblers out singing along the Mere footpath.

Sedge Warbler and Whitethroat won the day with Chiff Chaff close behind.

One Sedge Warbler showed nicely along the Snipe Grounds fence line:

Well that was a colourful walk in the morning sun along the Mere south side, including:
